FA Launch ‘Respect Campaign’.
As part of the FA’s new 4-year strategy,
a new ‘Respect’ Campaign has just been
launched. As time progresses we will find
that this will be adopted by all clubs and
teams competing in grassroots football.
Further details can be found at the
following website address:

As a Charter Standard Community Club we
will be working to implementing this new
initiative, starting in two areas. The first
is to ask to you to read the codes of
conduct which is on the front page of the
main website and on the individual team
pages (Team Documents). Secondly, as
you watch games at the club we would ask you
to stand at least 2 meters back from the
touchline behind the barriers or coned off
areas. The reason for this is: It gives the
players lots of room to take throw-ins. It
allows the linesman a clear view of the
line. It allows the coaches clear access to
see the game. Clap and cheers by all means
but let the managers and coaches give the
instructions.
